Maipai is a hidden tiki bar and Detroit-style pizza spot located on Barton Street in Hamilton, inviting guests to take a vacation without leaving the city. Their food menu is intentionally small, focusing on deep-dish pies made in seasoned steel pans imported from Detroit, with thick yet airy crusts cold-fermented for 48 hours and cheese that bakes into a crispy crown around every edge. Reservations are highly recommended, though walk-in bar seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
