About RankIt
RankIt is a restaurant discovery platform where the rankings come from the community, not from sponsored listings or opaque algorithms. Founded in 2026, RankIt started in Ontario’s Niagara Region and is no longer bounded by one province or one country: anywhere a diner adds a restaurant becomes a live ranking page.
The platform combines AI-generated baselines with Bayesian-blended community votes to surface the best dishes in each city, down to the individual menu item. A user in Welland can find the highest-ranked chicken shawarma within 10 km, see which restaurants have the best community-verified photos, and rank their own favourites to help their neighbours discover great food.
RankIt is available on the web at eatrankit.com, on the App Store for iPhone, and on Google Play for Android.

Community Rankings
RankIt seeds rankings with an AI baseline and refines them with community votes from local diners. Sponsored placements are clearly disclosed and never affect organic rank.

Dish-Level Granularity
