California Sandwiches is a beloved Sandwich institution that got its start in Toronto's Little Italy in 1967, growing from a small family grocery store into a local favourite with 14 family-owned locations across Ontario. Born from the Papa/Bertucci family's passion for homemade Italian sandwiches, they continue to use traditional preparation methods, including fresh daily sauce made from the finest Italian tomatoes and kaiser buns baked and delivered every morning by a local Italian bakery.
